Whitehaven Sports and Field Day June 1969

Upwards of 2500 people of all ages flocked to Whitehaven Playground in glorious weather for a sports and field day during June 1969 The event which was a great success ,was organised by The Whitehaven Playground Association to raise funds for maintenance and repair of the ground which was used by clubs - Rugby Union, tennis and cricket
