LOCAL taxi drivers raised £600 at a charity car wash held in aid of the Darren Rewcastle Memorial Fund and the Great North Air Ambulance.
This Saturday, a charity event, also in aid of the fund and the Air Ambulance will be held at the P&M Club, Greenbank, from 7.30pm. Organisers are happy to accept items to auction and raffle.
The taxi drivers also wish to thank Graham Wilson of Sneakyeat car wash for his support.
