WHITEHAVEN members of the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy performed their end-of-term show for proud family and friends.
Meeting every Friday during term-time at the New Life Church, Irish Street, the group took part in plays which were written especially for them.
The youngest students starred in the farmer themed Chicken Hearted Fox while the older ones enacted Storyland, featuring all of their favourite storybook characters, or were off on holiday in Jetlag Tours.
The youth theatre students had real fun dressing up as their favourite monsters in Freaky Creatures.
Becky Crawley, principal, said: “Every year at production I am so proud of the hard work and dedication put in by the students.
“We only have a limited time to rehearse for our plays and they are always delivered to such a high standard. The children’s confidence grows and grows each year. They were all fantastic!”
