Sorry cycling’s gone off track

SIR – I would like to thank the Egremont Crab Fair Sports Committee for including cycling in the sports for the last four years. I have raced at every one, as has at least one other member of my family.
Gear we go: Cycling is to be dropped from Egremtn Crab Fair Sports
National Champions have come to race at Crab Fair and last year Max Pendleton, the father of Olympic Gold medallist Victoria Pendleton, raced.
Following the success of the GB team at the last Olympics, more youngsters are getting involved in cycle racing. So I am very disappointed to hear that cycling will not be included in the 2010 Crab Fair Sports.
