Children from The Family Advice Centre After Schools Club meet Santa on the La’al Santa Express Train

South Whitehaven Neighbourhood Management Partnership provided funding to enable 69 young people from the South Whitehaven Neighbourhood Management area, to take part in a trip on the La’al Ratty Santa Express, over the weekend of the 29th and 30th of November 2008.

It was a truly wonderful experience for both young and old, everyone met Santa on the train and enjoyed singing Christmas tunes with him, later they gathered around his Grotto and received early Christmas presents.

Sheila Sloan from South Whitehaven Neighbourhood Management Partnership would like to thank all the parents and volunteers who came along on the day to help, ensuring everyone had a great time.
