Joanne Walker

Joanne was born within South Whitehaven and spent most of her childhood living in the area.
She lives locally with her three young daughters. She took on the role of Neighbourhood Manager for the South Whitehaven Partnership in September 2007, prior to this she was the project officer for Cleaner Safer Greener South Whitehaven, employed by Copeland Borough Council.
The main purpose of work within South Whitehaven is to coordinate and performance manage the delivery of public services within the super output areas of South Whitehaven, working with partner agencies to improve residents experiences of services through effective community engagement.
