REGULARS at the recently-closed King’s Arms on Hensingham Square raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support before licensee Bob Wilson called last orders for the final time.
A series of quiz nights saw customers raise £80 which Bob has passed on to Macmillan’s Cumbria office in Carlisle.
“The King’s Arms was delighted to make the donation on behalf of our regulars and we have had a very nice reply from Barbara Sharpe, the Cumbria fundraising manager,” said Bob.
